About Us ...

We are a small home-based kennel. All our babies are raised in our home and remain there until they go to their new homes. We are committed to breeding sound, beautiful, healthy dogs. We believe in screening and testing all our breeding stock for mitral valve problems, retinal dysplasia, and hip dysplasia.

Cambridge Black Celebration, a.k.a. Carlo

We became interested in the breed when I was hired to set up the extended care program in my home town. One of the programs we wanted for our elderly facility, was a live in pet. Elaine Mitchell who was living in Alberta at the time, donated a wonderful little Tricolour boy to our Care Center. His name was “Cambridge Black Celebration”. The residents in the home named him “Carlo”. He worked full time in the Tofield Health Center for 8 years until I retired from nursing. At that time he came home to live out the remainder of his life with me. He was the most sensitive, compassionate little boy that one could ever meet. He brought joy and comfort to many otherwise lonely and discouraged people.

Sarah, Tamarindo's Foundation Tricolour

I fell in love with the breed and bought my first little Tricolour Cavalier. “Cloverlawn Lady Sarah Farley Branscombe” what a name! We called her Sarah. I decided that I would like to have the experience of one litter of puppies and had purchased her with breeding rights. One litter had me hooked! We were fortunate to breed her to the top winning Cavalier in Canada at the time. A beautiful Blenheim boy “Bis, Biss Champion Mingchens Rock A Fella”. He was directly descended from the world champion “Rocky Racoon”.
